In a bottom you would typically see a lot of bad news.
Following is example of bad news that is coming out from Europe today Sunday.
Germany is guaranteeing all deposits today and the Netherlands is expanding its short selling ban. Iceland is going to the Scandinavian CBs (central bankers) to raise capital and avoid a default. Fortis was nationalized and won’t reopen for trading on Monday. Unicredit is going for an emergency capital raise. And for the more environmentally concerned of us, China seems to be poisoning people all over the world with its products.
Comments from average majority read something like this (actual quote):
"All this and we haven’t even made it to Sunday evening. Another exciting Monday in the markets I’m sure."
Yes, it will be exciting, but for the buyers who would fade the move of the average seller.
